That the reporting was some kind of misinformation and I responded to you on that point. The number of affected citizens is incorrect but the premise of the letter still stands.
The "reporting" was wildly exaggerated and factually incorrect on several key points. As I illustrated by posting correct facts.

Wow guess what? -- The "No Kings" shit had a BIG shortage of colored people. It was stark flour white!

I can't speak for black folks, but it seems to me no one was really buying this No Kings BS to begin with. The No Kings was an orchestrated choreographed event paid for by rich white Democrats, who are not really worried about block people, they just hate Trump. The No Kings protests were not sincere,, they were political show.

It is stunning to me how Europe is voting for its own execution. When someone said liberalism is a mental disorder, it was a hammer hitting the nail square on the head. These people have no sense of reality anymore but their votes doom everyone, including the people who are trying to warn them to stop.

Apparently Canada and Democrats have resurrected some old Reagan clips with him speaking about tariffs. Reagan opposed tariffs in general in favor of what he called free markets. He imposed them at time, like the Japanese dumping products in US markets at below cost to grab market share. Back then conservatives opposed tariffs s protectionist, which was a dirty word in conservative circles.

Back then US manufacturing was still strong. There were still major electronics manufacturers left in the US. Today, almost no electronics are manufactured in the US. Almost all electronics and components are made in China or Taiwan and exported to the US. Back then we were years ahead of the world in advanced technology and software engineering. Not so today.

The question is, should we have imposed high tariffs on imported electronics back then as a mean of protecting our technological superiority as well as jobs? We gave away a national security advantage for quick profits. I wonder if that was a mistake we will regret one day.
