Some facts. It is already illegal for illegal aliens to be on Medicaid. Some states fund healthcare for illegals but federal money cannot be used to put illegals on Medicaid. This has been true since 1996. However, if illegals go to a hospital emergency room to get treatment, they are treated and hospitals will bill Medicaid. That's part of it. The more complicated part is illegals with anchor babies can put their kids on Medicaid, as they are currently legal citizens of the US. In fact, anchor babies qualify for food stamps, welfare, and healthcare benefits. This is why the anchor baby policy is so ridiculous.
In any case, if we end the emergency Medicaid program, hospitals will still treat illegals but most likely raise costs for everyone else. I am not sure what the answer is but I am leaning towards deporting all of them, and closing the borders so they can't come back. Then we won't have them showing up in hospital emergency rooms for free medical care at the expense of the American people.
