Moist air holds more heat than dry air but be careful with this argument. The Climate Changers will argue as the earth warms, more water vapor will permeate the atmosphere causing more warming. Otherwise there is no argument for why the atmosphere would be any more humid now than in the past.
IMO, any change in climate is due to a number of factors but mostly the sun. The prediction of a solar minimum has been around for a while and the cooling we are experiencing is due to that mostly. But we should not assume only one thing is changing at any given time.
Its funny how the left is ridiculing the right for crazy conspiracy theories while climate change may be the craziest conspiracy theory of them all.

In NJ we have a governor's election coming up in November. Some of the Democrats running for governor want to bring this tiny homes concept to NJ. The people of NJ are getting fed up with the mandatory affordable housing mandates which have resulted in overdevelopment of many suburban towns and this is the proposal to fix that. They want to change township zoning laws to permit building tiny homes on smaller than standard lots which would use up the last remaining undeveloped parcels of land in NJ suburbia. This is retarded. But this is the kind of illogical reasoning Democrats bring to government.

It's not an argument. It's atop the list of climate driving greenhouse gases. And a LOT of it is man made, more than half actually. They know they would look silly trying to regulate or tax water vapor emissions and that would also expose the scam that CO2 regulations and taxing are. There's NO way at all to slow any warming or climate change without reducing mankind's contribution of Dihydrogen Monoxide to the atmosphere. And they know this.
So what you're left with is purely political hatchet job theatre. I've always called it a Watermelon Scheme because while it's green on the outside, inside it's pure communist red.

The majority of kids who do well today in public schools are the ones who come from families that are involved and teach their children at home. I am not talking about homeschooling (which is the best thing these days) but rather parents just being involved and helping kids to learn at home.

That's some of the problem I agree. But the larger slice of the pie is federal control through use of the pocketbook. The feds control the curriculum. Control what's taught and how it's taught. Or you lose the teat.
The goal being to produce people who are idiots functionally, have no skills or knowledge, no problem solving abilities, and therefore are useless in the marketplace and therefore are dependent on government teat. And who certainly will vote to protect teat access and amount.
They figured out that when we graduate knowledgeable functional people who can go out right after graduation and get a great job but have half of it eaten by income tax, these people tend to the conservative side of things and might even (gasp) vote Republican. That's what the DOE is. The tool to prevent that.
