Is that a "let Dez and Murray walk" draft?

If we go offense the first 3 rounds, I may slit my wrists.

What pep said.

Plus DGB is a bad guy. Don't want. Thought it would be funny hearing how he's somehow a RKG.

DBG either spent this last year getting his crap together or he didn't. I've heard he was a nightmare and things like "biggest red flag" ever. I've also heard guys say he is reformed and is now serious about his NFL career. Up to scouts and investigators to figure out. Definitely a guy I would need to talk to several times.

As a football player though, he is an elite NFL WR. Elite.

He is, but are we going to just throw away all character concerns and bring everyone in now?

I dunno, maybe we're already to that point.

It depends on the value and where you can get them.

Is DGB worth the risk at pick 27 (round 1)? Probably not for us.
in the 2nd round? Maybe.

Was Vontaze Burfict worth the risk in the 7th round? Absolutely.

You can't have, or shouldn't have, a rigid stance on this stuff. We gambled on Dez and that paid off. We didn't gamble on Randy Moss and that was a move that could have kept us relevant for several more years.

I really don't think we need a wideout so when you add in the fact that he's a high risk player I don't think its worth it for us.

Now if we were able to trade down in the first acquiring an extra 3rd or whatever then I wouldn't hate spending that pick on a player like that. Still would prefer not to but at that point we'd probably be crazy to pass on the talent.

It's such a tough call anymore because the league isn't fucking around. Josh Gordon has all the talent to be elite but never gets on the field.
