Lol. It is only something a Chicago cubs fan would understand. The Royals are kicking some ass. They have been in playoff mode for much of the season. They had the longest post season drought of any major league team in any sport.

When I started watching baseball in the mid 70's they were one of the best organizations in the league and a postseason fixture.

I'm actually pulling for the Royals, don't want to see the Giants or Cardinals win the World Series. Plus as a Yankee fan I hate the Orioles.

Thanks pep/everyone else. It's been a long time. I was 14 in 1985. I love baseball and was born a Royals fan. I have pictures from when I was two years old dressed in Royals gear. As a little kid living in NJ I have fond memories of my Dad taking me to Yankees stadium every time the Royals came to town. Watching the game with him yesterday was priceless.
