So takes the ability of congress to trade stocks away? Congress. Who decides how much congress people get paid? Congress. Congress votes on all the rules that apply to them which is why it is so important for the people to pay attention and treat these people like employees regardless of party. Unfortunately, the voters are no more interested in winning for their party than doing what is best for the country. The convention of states may be the only choice we have to fix this. Congress is not going to do it to themselves.

Indeed. All the things that are absolute no brainers to do, Congress will never do.

2) Term limits
3) Congress being paid when the government is closed
4) End Mass Insider Stock Trading

They'll never pass all these common sense initiatives.

The Founders never anticipated people would make careers out of being in Congress or the Senate. It's about the only thing they missed on.

I don't care what it costs. The lies, deception, destruction of evidence, the media giving them credibility, and the intent to undermine the democratic process are all much worse crimes than how much money they spent. Why is Cassidy Hutchinson not under investigation? Why is she not being squeezed for information? She clearly lied and changed her testimony. Who put her up to it?
