Yeah a buddy is a Buccaneers fan and he said that the team was afraid of losing Koetter and that Koetter and Winston were really close, or had great a great report and feared losing the OC would stunt Jameis development. It's a shitty situation because Lovie is a very good coach.

And isn't it a little too soon to be sort of consulting Winston for HC advice? I know he's a talent, but he's also proven to be a huge knucklehead (at best) with very poor judgment.
