How come our pass D is so bad?

Believe it or not, but we actually have 2 good corners in Scandrick and Sterling Moore. Haven't seen the safeties give up too many glaring errors.

Is it because of the pass-rush, or am I missing a lot regarding the safeties? Does Brandon Carr bring the group that much down?

The safeties (especially Church) are liabilities downfield, but we just cant bother a QB enough to help offset it.

Oh we can't evaluate secondary talent at all. At fucking all.

Moore is our second best corner - easily. And we cut him after training camp.

IMO, it sounds obvious and simple but its a little bit of both.. Shitty dbs and no pass rush.

We have two safeties better suited for strong. We have a corner (Carr) better suited for FS. Scandrick is our best corner but he's a number 2 on most teams. And the guys under him are all more like 4s. 3s at best. Basically no number 1 CB.

Our DLine is a hot mess. Just a bunch of guys all around the same talent level rotating in and out. No stud pass rushers in the group. And pass rush is the key to everything in this league anymore.

We have a bunch of average players that when we don't protect them they get exposed.
