Saw Rhode Island is proposing the most radical gun ban and confiscation law ever conceived.

Apparently they know it has zer chance to survive the SCOTUS but those supporting reportedly don't care and will install it for however long it can stay, then force the gun proponents to pay to fight it.

No, what gun control is about is ensuring a tyrannical single party system of government can take over and know that citizens will never have the means to act against them. This is why 2A exists because the Founding Fathers wanted to ensure the citizens COULD protect themselves against dictatorship style governments.

250 years later and these people have proven time and again they were smarter than everyone else. The only thing they fucked up was not installing term limits for the H & S, and frankly they never foresaw a future where people got fat off these positions and made "careers" out of being politicians.
