Watched the last 20 minutes. Not a fan of the sport. But, these 20 minutes were about as exciting as Emmitt high stepping knowing he wasn't going to be caught, for a TD. Was cheering for the rookie, Malukas. The kid was so heartbroken. He's a natural & WILL win an Indy.

The closest race in Indianapolis 500 history occurred in the 110th running of the event, where Felix Rosenqvist edged David Malukas by just 0.0233 seconds. In a thrilling final-lap shootout, Rosenqvist passed Malukas on the outside down the homestretch to take the victory.

This finish also set a race-day record with an incredible 70 lead changes among 14 different drivers, surpassing the previous record of 68 set in 2013. The previous record for the closest Indy 500 finish was held for decades by Al Unser Jr., who narrowly held off Scott Goodyear by 0.043 seconds in 1992.
