The Slaw Dog Wienermobile won the inaugural "Wienie 500" race at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway on May 23, 2025. The race, which took place as part of Carb Day for the Indy 500, saw the six regional Wienermobiles compete in a two-lap event. The Slaw Dog, representing the Southeast, won the race in a photo finish over the Chi Dog, representing the Midwest.
The race, which marked the first time all six Wienermobiles had raced together in over a decade, featured the Chi Dog (Midwest), New York Dog (East), Slaw Dog (Southeast), Sonoran Dog (Southwest), Chili Dog (South), and Seattle Dog (Northwest).

Barkley is the first player since former Eagles quarterback Donovan McNabb to appear on the "Madden" cover. McNabb starred on the cover in 2006.

So, Barkley makes Madden because of this "backwards" hurdle? Or because the Egals won the SB? I ask because a player by the name of Ezekiel Elliott rules when it comes to hurdles. Did he ever hurdle backwards?!

There are concerns that the pipeline of college talent for Team USA will take a hit.
