With the class being announced Tuesday night, former Boston Red Sox slugger David Ortiz was the lone player to receive the necessary votes for election into the Baseball Hall of Fame this year, while Barry Bonds and Roger Clemens fell short.

yes exactly. ortiz was the only one between himself, bonds, and clemens, to test positive for PEDs.... so why did ortiz make it on his 1st ballot but bonds/clemens have been snubbed ? its stupid

I used to have the MLB and NFL hall of fame's on my bucket list of places to visit, but decided years ago both were a complete waste of my time due to obvious election bias and inconsistencies. Both of them are complete jokes now.
