I don't think they'll have to overpay to keep him. Somebody else would probably have to overpay to get him, and if that happens so be it.

Murray is one of the better all around RB's in the league right now. Very good RB that finishes runs extremely well, excellent hands as a receiver and is also an excellent pass protector.

He's not anything special or irreplaceable. He isn't a Dickerson, Walker, Dorsett or a Emmitt. He's beasting it this year because it is a contract year. If Dallas signs him to a big extension he will go right back to what he was in years prior. Injury prone and not that beasty.

Ride the rented mule into the ground then let him go to another farm.
