8/86 a touchdown and the should be game-winning catch. What'd you do that game?

Extrapolate that and he hits your 1500/12 TD goal for a season

except we spent the whole game trying to get him the ball and its most likely the reason we didnt score enough that game.

Extrapolate? its not that simple, if it was he would have had the type of season already but he hasnt. He hasnt even had a season as good as austin's 09 season who for some reason you think isnt any good.

I hope he turns out to be this beast everyone claims, I dont watch that much college football so when he was at his first camp in 10 I listened to everyone talk about how incredible he was and how he was larry fitzgerald and andre johnson....but he doesnt seem to be like them at all, he does not run as well and he is not smart enough.

As soon as he can match austins 09 season I guess I will take him seriously as this incredible player. Right now he just looks like a good player.

Man, there are still idiots that think Dez is a bust in year two? Really? A late round 1st rounder that has had no full off season program since he came into the league, that is only 300 yards behind the Giants number 1 receiver (Nicks) and is tied for touch downs after two years and 5 less games?

Seriously? Can you just go fuck yourself now? Do I really need to go on?

Dez in his first 2 Years: roughly 4 for 55 yards and .62 td a game

Andre Johnson: 4.5 catches for 60 yards and .31 td a game

If this is dez sucking ass I can't wait to see what happens when he figures it all out

Just out of curiosity. Do you think he will surpass Miles Austin as the #1 receiver? What would validate him in your mind that he is better than just a “good player”?

Stop making zone style arguments, no has ever said DEz sucks or whatever. I am simply saying i don't see him as incredible a player as everyone made him out to be. He s obviously a good player and I hope he turns into one of the great players, I just don't see him that way.

Especially when he has been playing with some excellent players around him unlike some of the really great players at his position.

I imagine the team has already deemed him the number 1 wr.

Having a truly great season would be a good sign he is becoming one of the great players.

As long as you stop being zone style retarded.

He matched or exceeded Andre johnsons first two Years and that's with what even he would call less than ideal circumstances. Whether it be undisciplined route-running, confusion in the offense, or what.

We saw him make the Jets look silly in the first Q then he appeared to be totally gassed. I don't think he was doing cardio and wasn't fully prepared week 1. Abs, or not being fat, doesn't mean you're ready to go toe to toe with revis and cromarte 40 times a game and I hope he learned that.

To deny his talent just comes off curmudgeonly to be honest. He's jumping off the screen and it's 40% stick in the dirt stuff

I am a retard?

Can u read? I have said repeatedly he is a good player, I simply dont see him as the enormously talented Fitzgerald type.

And again I hope that changes.

And your the one who keeps diminishing austin's abilities when he has actually had a great season.....so I guess I am the retard huh..

Yes.

Miles Austin is a fine, easy to root for, possession WR(who can't catch). Hes probably a top 20 wr but Unfortunately we paid him an exponential amount without factoring in the Romo factor.

T.o., Glenn, crayton, rw11, Skyler green all don't do shit when they leave here.

Only dez has shined in his own. being told by the coaches he's taking too many hits and needs to actually go down sometimes is a great problem to have.

If his name was Dez Bryantsteinberg I think people would get off his back

This is post is filled with really silly comments. Now I am a racist and a retard because I think Bryant is a good player not in fitzgeralds class though...

Wonderful. I am actually embarrassed for you that u made that post.

Oh and I just realized you called austin a possession wr...

Hilarious.

Bryant has never even had a day like Austin had last year against the niners and that was without DEz in the lineup drawing ten men to guard him as you keep stating it takes.....austin has had repeated days like that.

I'm talking about the media. It's been open season on dez since day 1

Ur still retarded about dez tho. So he's not on pace to break Jerry rice's records like Fitzgerald. Ok and?

Even if he has been fairly productive so far, Dez strikes many as only scratching the surface of his talent.

Because Dez has some significant physical gifts, he can be both productive and underachieving at the same time.

Here's hoping he continues to improve.

While I agree with the sentiments there is no was he should be judged against Fitzgerald and Johnson especially considering his his numbers are right on track with them in their 1st 2 years.

He is being judged against standards that nobody but Randy Moss has achieved.

Read other fan forums when it comes to Dez. There isn't a fan of another team that isn't scared to death of him. A lot of you guys are way to close to this to see how dangerous the kid has already been and how much better he can be. It's down right bone chilling to think about.
