125 yard per game is pretty tough.

And it's not like any team wants to be the team to give up the record.

Seems all of our star players have that kamikaze style of play: Dez, Murray, Lee and to a certain extent Romo.

Bryant has yet to run routes this offseason because of the back injury, and he could end up missing all or part of organized team activities. There's no concern, however, that the injury will linger into training camp.

That sucks (the first sentence).

This is what a lingering injury looks like during the off-season....

Dez Bryant a big fan of offseason program: "I see a big change in my weight, my strength...I feel way more explosive coming out of my cuts."

Cornerbacks around the league gon geat beat like disobedient wives.

BOOYEAH

The 2000 yard season might be less absurd than it appears. Garrett does not like to call plays that reduce the options to running the ball or have interest in creating plays to run the ball. With a terrible O-line in 2012 somehow he was calling 40 pass plays per game average. If Callahan or Jerry or Bubbles the monkey does any math here they will see that 1/3 of Austin's 900 yards and Bryant's 1352 yards came after the catch. They will also see that 80 to 90 percent of Felix Jones and Murray's receiving yards came after the catch. Other than the departing Felix, the obvious strength of these receivers is YAC not Joiner/Jefferson/Chandler downfield Mach speed.

So if the "system" stays as Garrett says it will, there is good reason to think that Bryant will be the equivalent of a WR and a RB in terms of targets and touches. Without the changes and input that IMO Jerry is orchestrating in the offense w/Callahan and maybe Dooley, Dez Bryant had 455 yards of his 1352 total yards after the catch.

Now that Jerry is insisting that Jason's offense add something, anything, there could be much more

I applaud the thought you put into that Omega... and I'm as big a Dez fan as there is... but no, he's not getting 2k yards.

Bryant is a major stud, but I suspect a lot of coordinators are going to throw a lot of double teams and rolled coverages to him to try and take him away more next year.

If Austin could somehow stay healthy, he could potentially have a huge year because of it.

I'm not convinced its a certainty, its just not out of the question. While I do agree with debair that coverage will roll to Dez, the possibility of Dez catching 2 passes per quarter and fighting for a similar YAC amount is not that crazy. If they go short passing instead of RB traditional running game, could happen.

Bryant can do whatever he wants to do. If he wants 2000 yards and 20 tds, he can do it. Only person that can stop him is himself.
