You hear Walt Garrison on the Musers this morning talking about it, pep? Pretty cool.
Garrison was talking on the radio this morning about walking the field on the day before the game and how the field was so soft, because they had the pipes underneath the turf that had hot water run through them. Allegedly someone turned off the water so it wouldn't run through the pipes and they froze, and the field was a block of ice the next day. He said it was like "running on pavement and when you hit it, you tore the hide off."that field looks harder than my cock

Did we win? I was too busy listening to Joe McCartney on the radio.
Was it played in color?
Yep they noticed that and keyed on it.pretty good chance it's a run play when Hayes runs a route with his hands in his pants
gutsy call by Lombardi to go for the win instead of a tie. probably just wanted to get out of the cold.
