that field looks harder than my cock

pretty good chance it's a run play when Hayes runs a route with his hands in his pants

Garrison was talking on the radio this morning about walking the field on the day before the game and how the field was so soft, because they had the pipes underneath the turf that had hot water run through them. Allegedly someone turned off the water so it wouldn't run through the pipes and they froze, and the field was a block of ice the next day. He said it was like "running on pavement and when you hit it, you tore the hide off."

Was listening to Lee Roy Jordan the other night, he intimated that everyone knew Lombardi was behind it and had it done on purpose.

Did we win? I was too busy listening to Joe McCartney on the radio.

Was watching nfl network replay of the game last night, never cared to watch the relics, but nothing else was on

It was a trip to see the d lineman trying to kick the ice out of the grass where they would be planting on that final QB sneak. Literally kicking up ice chips. Crazy.

gutsy call by Lombardi to go for the win instead of a tie. probably just wanted to get out of the cold.

We had 8 sacks in that game. Jethro Pugh had 3 alone.

The QB stats though were pretty bad for us and pretty good for them. Ultimately might be why we lost.

Dan Reeves had almost as many passing yds on one play as Don Meredith did on 25 attempts.

Apparently Starr told him they could run a play called the "Wedge" under Pugh who carried a high stance.

Lombardi told him to "run the play so we can get the Hell out of here". Starr's own teammates didn't know he was going to keep the ball.

The fullback dove in behind him completely shocked not to be handed the football and landed on top of Starr with hands outstretched. It looked to people like he was signaling "TD" when in reality he was doing everything he could to show the refs he wasn't assisting Starr into the endzone.
