Interesting.

Initially we had heard Thomas would be competing with Guyton at LT. Maybe this is just a minicamp thing, but somewhat notable.

There's 3 possibilities:

1) It's nothing, just coaches experimenting
2) Maybe they see Thomas a real alternative to Steele (who is likely in his last season here)
3) Maybe Shelton is ahead of where they thought he'd be as a rookie.

Will get an early taste in game one to see if the tackles can prevent consistent edge pressure. Thibodeaux, Burns and Carter should be a pretty good measuring stick.
