Looks like Cowboys thought they had a deal done for Crosby last night. Crosby's cryptic texts probably were because he thought a deal was getting done.

Looks like we may be out on him now.

Hendrickson was really, really good from 2020-2024 and had back to back 17 1/2 sack seasons in 23 and 24, but he's 31 and coming off a significant injury that shut him down last yr. Reportedly wants a big payday too. Def some risk involved.

Trading both firsts for Crosby is a bit too rich imo. Hendrickson does have risk, but that can be mitigated. Maybe a two year deal, with an option dependent on games played?

I wouldn’t give up 2 first rounders for him AND a player. Which is apparently what their asking price is. It’s essentially the Micah deal

Now if you would have asked me last year if I would have traded Micah for Crosby straight up while Micah was being a little bitch I would have said yes.

I wouldn't trade two 1sts for him (whether it's both this yr or one this yr and next yr).

But if the deal is the 20th pick plus maybe a mid rd pick next yr (which is what I think his value really is) then I'm good with it.

Him and Quinnen Williams on the same DL would be pretty damn amazing.

He played with the injury and wanted to keep playing in games, it was the Raiders who shut him down.

Like I said I doubt it happens, but for the later 1st I'd definitely have to think about it.

The Rams have adopted a strategy of trading early picks for proven players and its worked pretty well for them.

The Rams have a QB and are in a win now mode......

Herbig makes a ton of sense if they can figure out how to make it happen.

Odafe Oweh, Boye Mafe and Herbig situation are guys to watch for us. Jaelen Phillips obviously played for Parker last yr so he knows exactly what he can do in his type scheme but not sure if he did anything special enough to warrant being more than a fallback option. Jadaveon Clowney was a far better player than Phillips was.

Most of the reporters seem to think we will go after Trey Hendrickson now, but his age and injury situation worry me some. I don't even know if he can pass a physical yet.

Hopefully they address each level of defense with one quality starter.

Edge/Pass rusher: Odafe Oweh, Boye Mafe or maybe a trade for someone like Nick Herbig or Jonathan Greenard (if healthy)

LB: Devin Lyod (prob too expensive) or Nakobe Dean (makes sense with Parker connection, but hurt a lot)

DB: Alontae Taylor and/or Jalen Thompson (our DB coach Ryan Smith came from Cards). Taylor seems like near perfect scheme fit. Getting both would be huge secondary upgrade.

There are a couple of playoff teams with picks towards the end of the 2nd rd that might be tempted here.

We also officially put the 2nd rd tender on TJ Bass, while unlikely that a team would trade a 2nd for Bass they might trade a lower pick or two (we would have to agree to it) OR Bass could be dangled as trade bait either for another player (hint hint, maybe somebody like Nick Herbig, McCarthy obviously was HC here when we got Bass originally and likes him) or part of a draft day move up (since we dont have a 2nd or 3rd to use)

Look at this. Dodger hates this man so much that he broke up the wedding.

Cold move Dodger.

What does that tell you? And I'm not blaming Dak but he's too stupid to see a gold digger so how do I expect him to be smart enough to read a D. Get rid of him.

But at least this gives dbair a built in excuse for Dak when he stinks the season up after the D improves.

Roy Williams the safety was never the same after that slutty singer dumped him. Might happen to Prescott too.
