It's not beyond the realm of possibility that a team (especially a really good team drafting late in round two) would think about making an offer. Many teams have bad kickers and there are too many "close" games not to have a good one.

We'd still be able to match any offer, but it wouldn't be a shock if a team at least thought about this for Aubrey.

I've always been a DLaw fan, love the way he plays the game. He was also one of the very few who was not afraid to address the elephant in the room, Parsons being a turd in the locker-room.

I do hope he gets his Super Bowl ring and it was the main reason he left (he said so the day he signed with Seattle). That said, I don't know why he would need to thank Jerry for anything. He left because he was a free agent and could choose to do so.

Several of our DC candidates are interviewing with other teams now.

Daronte Jones will interview with the Giants. Christian Parker is scheduled to interview with Packers after he leaves Dallas tomorrow evening.

Jonathan Gannon interviewed in Dallas yesterday/last night and also has interviewed with the Jets and Foreskins.

Jim Leonhard also (or is) interviewing with Jets, Giants and rumored to be Packers.

Love your optimism! Wish I could catch it! I just think the stench of one Jerruh Jones has permeated this organization like a bad strain of covid and no matter who you get will have their hands full with the infected culture. As long as players know they can go around the coach and directly to the Jerruh that is a HUGE problem. Subconsciously everyone and especially the fan base knows the Jerruh doesn’t care about winning. The Cowboys are his toy. Don’t get me wrong, if we lucked out and won a Super Bowl the Jeruh would stick out his chest and beat the “I told you so” drum, but he has demonstrated through is actions that he really doesn’t care about anything except making money. I pray every year that I am wrong but so far things have played out exactly like I have stated.
