Watkins speculating that Holland comes in in shape and gets signed.

Said he was really humbled last year after coming in out of shape.

It would be funny if when it's all said and done, Holland is our starting RG for NYG.

Outside of Free and Smith, that's pretty much what every offensive lineman on the team is.

It's amazing that Livings and Bernadette can give Dallas such elite starting quality that they are able to bring back past starters to now compete for backup spots.

Romo and witten must be thrilled to hear this.

Btw. Why not just resign and keep holland just in case? He played decent enough.

Apparently, unemployed Holland works out harder to keep his weight down than employed Holland.

I'm not sure what injury Jeff Otah has that caused him to fail his physical, but if it's short-term I would take a look at him. He'd be our 4th tackle for now but once he's healthy he'd push Doug Free at right tackle or possibly move inside. He's got some talent. Again, I don't know the extent of his injury, just that he was released today. I think even injured, he's better than McQuistan.

Holland did very well last year. I think he graded out as the better of all the guards we had. Which I know isn't saying much...

Here's my biggest beef with this - this is the best the pro personnel department can come up with? Three guys that were on the roster last year?

I'm convinced the pro personnel department in Dallas just isn't very creative. Laurent Robinson was a gift from Norv to Garrett.

I think they were saying Otah has hardly played for two years, and it isnt looking real promising for this year. He cant push Doug Free and he almost assuredly cant play RG or LG.

Not alot walking around out there now. I guess part of the thinking is at least these 3 guys know the offense.

And the guy gets hated on alot, but when Holland has played he's been decent. Its just unfortunate that everytime he gets a chance, he gets hurt.

What a stupid comment.

lol

Brought back AOA. Passed on Waters last year.

OK, what savvy pro personnel moves has Dallas been making lately?

Compare Dallas to say, NE, who routinely brings in contributing veterans. You just don't see that in Dallas. Their pro moves are underwhelming and have been for awhile.

I know that Bellicek and NE would not put the kind of crap player like Costa on an Oline to protect Brady. Offensively, protecting Brady is paramount before anything else, obviously that is not the mindset with the Cowboys in regards to Romo.
