but when Holland has played he's been decent.

You are obviously watching a different game than most of us. Seriously, really watch the guy and he's "not good" at best. More often than not he was on the ground or whiffing his blocks. He is a waste of a roster spot.

So where is everyone's confidence in the OL?

9M on Spencer could have signed Grubbs and one of the Centers...........

Instead, the OL may actually be worse off because teams will be facing the exact same squad and know exactly how to attack from the onset of the season.

lol

Brought back AOA. Passed on Waters last year.

OK, what savvy pro personnel moves has Dallas been making lately?

Compare Dallas to say, NE, who routinely brings in contributing veterans. You just don't see that in Dallas. Their pro moves are underwhelming and have been for awhile.

What was Keith Brooking for two years? What was Leonard Davis & Kyle Kosier? Mark Colombo, Terrell Owens, Ken Hamlin (one yr anyway), Gerald Sensabaugh.

What about all these free agents we signed this year?

Good grief.

I know that Bellicek and NE would not put the kind of crap player like Costa on an Oline to protect Brady. Offensively, protecting Brady is paramount before anything else, obviously that is not the mindset with the Cowboys in regards to Romo.

I dont know how much you watch of them, but if our guys were able to hold and rape opposing DL's the way they do up there, even Costa might look pretty decent.

I watched all the games, and the OL was better as a unit when Holland played. He was the 2nd best OL on the team last yr when he was out there.

First off all, no it wasn't. Secondly, arguing that Holland was the 2nd best OL on the team is like arguing which turd smells the least.

You are out of your mind dude.

So...we let the 2nd best OL go. We don't re-sign him. Nor does any other team. Even to give him a look...until we have 4 other G on the DL... and I'm out of my mind thinking that he's not good?

I never claimed he was "good", I said he played decent and that our OL improved when he was out there, which was true. That service that grades all the players at all positions apparently agreed, because they gave him a decent grade for last year.

Who knows why he hasnt signed elsewhere. Maybe he didnt want to play. Maybe he's out of shape again. Maybe he had decided if he wasnt going to play for Dallas that he'd retire. Who knows.

Brooking was terrible.

Kosier and Colombo were decent but that was a different crew at that time.

Hamlin was a good signing on his one year deal. After that, poor. Sensabaugh is a JAG. Davis wasn't worth the money

Carr has potential. The rest from this year? Eh....again nothing impressive

You've more or less made my point for me

That had more to do with Nagy being awful than it did with Holland looking "good".

I think this free agent class is going to be good. Connor and vickers are going to be good and I think livings is going to be a good player.

If we could have landed the bears te Clark itnwould have been outstanding.

Brooking was not horrible, he was very good his first year and was a solid addition.

Think it was the other TE we were trying to get, Davis. He changed his mind at the last instant and went back up there. I think they believed they had a deal with him. He would have been a very nice addition though.

Hopefully Phillips can do the job.
