The spectre of gambling makes everything look suspect. Look malicious.
The spread was 27.5 pts I believe, so gambling had no impact on why they changed it. WMU was covering either way, same thing for the O/U, it had no impact.

They (Big 10 and NCAA) did it to avoid an embarrassing loss for a sacred cow team that they need to be bowl eligible.

I'm hip to that as you know. Problem is, 70 percent of sports fans and 90 percent of J.Q. Public, aren't hip to that.

Oklahoma embarrassed the SEC today.

Losing to a lousy Michigan team that one week ago got beat at home by Western Michigan (no matter what the NCAA says)

Meanwhile Oklahoma St (which lost to Tulsa last week) is giving #6 Oregon all they can handle.
