CFP gets more ridiculous every yr.
What a fucking joke. Oregon at one point led 48-13 and scored 50+ pts on 53 total plays and with less than 25 minutes of TOP. They AVERAGED nearly a 1st down every snap.
Ole Miss easily covered and was up 41-3 at one point.
Meanwhile Notre Dame, which had a 1pt loss at home in week two to Texas A&M and a close loss at Miami to start the season, stayed home. I hate the Irish but were eons better than Tulane or James Madison, and probably better than OU, Alabama, Texas A&M and Miami now too.
And the dumbshit committee actually wants MORE playoff teams. They don't need 12. They definitely don't need more. 8 is plenty and 4 or 6 are probably the most legit number. There are not 8, 10, 12 teams capable of winning the national championship.
Meanwhile, they've totally slaughtered the bowl season lineup and filled them with uninteresting, lousy matchups filled mediocre to bad 6-6 and 7-5 teams.
