This wont matter, half the stadium (or more) is normally other team's fans anyway.

For the longest time I wondered why Jerry made the new place so damn big to begin with, Texas Stadium was about the right size and there were years they couldn't even fill that place up (including 89 and 90 when Jones first bought the team). Then it occurred to me, Jones maybe made it as large as he did with the intent that the place would always have plenty of fans from OTHER teams, which would help negate the appearance that "nobody was coming to the games" when they were bad.

Corporate buys almost all the seats now anyway and the fans they send arnt really "fans" at all. It's people just glad to take advantage of freebies and have something to occupy a Sunday afternoon or evening with, a social event.

Yep. The NFL has made a bullet proof business model. There are no more empty stands or fans with bags over their heads.

I remember the extensive discussions around this when they were interviewing all the coordinator candidates. The overwhelming majority of fans (especially those at IdiotZone) were all throwing up in their mouth over Gannon as a DC as they all claimed "typical Jerry hire!!!!!!" "He's overruling the HC again to get his guy!!!!!!"...."Gannon had ties to Eberflus!!!!!!!"

Of course after last night, none of those fucking stooges act like they remember any of that and believe the Cowboys made a mistake passing on Gannon.

I think Gannon def had at least one strong supporter in the room as Klayton Adams worked for him in Arizona. Supposedly the Jones' favored Gannon too but they ultimately ended up letting Schottenheimer decide.

I do think had the Falcons not blocked the move, Jeff Ulbrich would have been the choice to be the new DC and the locals were even reporting it. Ulbrich was close with DL coach Aaron Whitecotton.

Now they claim Ferg did return the ball to the ref, so it appears Amigo Dodger may have been right in that Prescott was the one who fucked up.

Insanity. Do the same thing over and over an expect a different result. That's the Jones for 3+ decades now.

You GOTI be kidding me.

My point exactly.

On this play we had three 300+ DTs ONLY rush the passer. Edge rusher way downfield.

Not only that, but its the three BACKUP DT's at that. Not a single guy that excels at pass rush actually rushing the passer.

Just stupid beyond belief.
