This is not what I wanted to log on and read today.

Am I the only one that thinks this is super strange? No way a cornerstone player should lose time over an injury that was known weeks ago and could have/should have been taken care of then. 6 weeks for a thumb injury? I can see a knee, a back, etc. But a thumb? Cut the fucking thing off and lets get on with it.

They never mentioned what it was, but there were days he was held out of practice. One time I thought the reporters said it was knee soreness but Archer is saying he's been dealing with the thumb thing for weeks.

Schottenheimer made it sound like Smith was doing everything he could to figure out how to play through it.

If you were dedicated at your position here you'd have had this up and running at 6:01 a.m. EST this morning.

Fucking slacker. Don't make me cut your pay again.
Not that it's an excuse, but you cut holiday pay the last time. So technically, this was at a discount...

Broaddus now saying it wasn't something that happened weeks ago, saying it's much more recent.

Of course that's the opp of what Archer was saying.
