Joe Milton 12/15, 107 yds, 1 TD,118.6 rating
Sam Howell 8/12, 94 yds, 1 TD, 118.1 rating

I think 2 of Milton's incompletions were drops, 1 definitely was.

2nd half rushing:

Malik Davis 7 carries, 39 yds 5.6 per carry
Israel Abinikanda 7 carries, 36 yds, 5.1 per carry

One of the unsung plays of the night. Totally saved the horrendous return defense of the other 10 guys.

He actually had a decent game overall. Had a couple nice 1st half catches from Howell too.

Fun first pre season game! I know all the negative stuff but want to accentuate the positive. First off, we won the ballgame. Our defense looked much better especially tackling. Both Milton and Howell looked great . Camden Brown earned a spot on the 53 man roster. Michael triggs was impressive . James Houston had a good game on the edge. Goal line stand was impressive . Overall energy and wanting to compete was evident. Really enjoyed seeing 2nd and 3rd teamers really fighting for a roster spot. I know it’s early and I don’t want to get ahead of myself but the needle is pointing in the right direction . This team and especially the defense is night and day better compared to last season. Go Cowboys!

When the final cuts are made for the 53 man roster look out. The first round of house cleaning started with the trade of Parsons ( which needed to happen IMHO) as his attitude was poisoning . Same with Diggs. There are going to be some good players left without a job when the final roster is completed. I predict a shakeup at safety. We will need to find two viable backup offensive linemen who can play. Look for big cuts there . Mingo and Holden are gone. Carson is anther one that screwed his chances last night. Camden Brown is your 5th receiver . Not even close for the 5th spot .Dbsir I give you props on LB group. They looked pretty good and organized for a change. The final 53 man roster became a little clearer after last night with the exception of who will be the 2nd QB. Stay tuned on that one. I can’t even remember the last time I was this excited about our team. Regardless of how the season shakes out it will be fun!

Been watching these post game interviews with defensive position coaches and they are an impressive bunch. Just seems like we finally have a group of very talented knowledgeable detailed oriented Teachers/ coaches. Very refreshing. The players seem to really gravitate toward these coaches. It’s just so nice after the Eberflus catastrophe. There was an energy last night with this team that we have not seen in a long time. There is a slow growing quiet confidence that is building. Can’t we to see our first teamers when the season starts.
