What's the net result of that trade score wise? I guess we wouldn't consummate the trade until the target player is still there and our trade partner is on the clock.

Dallas 12 (1200) + 20 (850) for Cleveland 6 (1600) + 39 (510)

It's almost a wash, one of those where it's probably a good deal for both teams. Cleveland needs OL (in volume) and WR's, maybe a TE. None of those guys is really worth the 6th pick. They end up with 3 first round picks.

Good deal for us because we guarantee ourselves one of the best defensive prospects (almost assuredly wont be available at 12) and we still get back a 2nd, and most of the draft gurus believe there isnt much difference between prospects rated from late teens to 50's. So in this case we don't have a net loss of draft picks.

Gruden's clips with the prospect QB's every yr is great stuff.

Also fyi, it didnt get a lot of pub but the Cowboys had a private workout with Taylen Green. To me he's similar to Joe Milton in some ways.. Doesnt have the all out rocket arm Milton has but also might be a slightly more savvy passer. They both have tremendous size and running skill.

The rumored Chiefs deal of 9 & 29 for 12 & 20 looks pretty nice, especially considering they should be able to get CJ Allen or Jacob Rodriguez at 29. At 9 maybe you get Downs, Bain (if he hasn't been removed from draft board) or Delane.

Pts value chart shows Chiefs 9 is worth 1350 and 29 is worth 640. Our 12 is 1200 and 20 is 850. Chiefs would owe us about 60 pts to make it a wash, meaning we could probably add a day three pick. (60pts is worth a mid 4th rd pick)
