Dallas 12 (1200) + 20 (850) for Cleveland 6 (1600) + 39 (510)What's the net result of that trade score wise? I guess we wouldn't consummate the trade until the target player is still there and our trade partner is on the clock.
It's almost a wash, one of those where it's probably a good deal for both teams. Cleveland needs OL (in volume) and WR's, maybe a TE. None of those guys is really worth the 6th pick. They end up with 3 first round picks.
Good deal for us because we guarantee ourselves one of the best defensive prospects (almost assuredly wont be available at 12) and we still get back a 2nd, and most of the draft gurus believe there isnt much difference between prospects rated from late teens to 50's. So in this case we don't have a net loss of draft picks.
