There's gonna be a lot of new guys on defense this year Amigo.

This guy is highly regarded as a teacher, lets see if that holds true here before dismissing him completely.

I have no idea if he will be good or not, he certainly has a positive background and there was a number of teams/coaches interested in him as a DC. I'm glad we didnt do what we always do and were willing to go a new direction. The HC here clearly pulled the trigger on this and that's also a move on the positive side, even if it doesnt work.

But I think if he’s going to run any version of Fangios scheme that our players are not smart enough to grasp it.

I know we will have a bunch of new players next year. That won’t matter. If any of our players from this season are left over (which there we be a number of them) then the ones left behind will be too dumb to pick up his scheme

Essentially what I’m saying is I have zero faith in any of our players being able to pick up not only a new scheme (again) but a more complicated one

New players will help, but having coaches that really know how to teach and implement their scheme is a bigger +

This guy definitely has some skins on the wall around the league, players will respect that.

Well the one good thing is the only direction to go is up

Being the worst defense in the league last year means he can completely shit the bed and likely still do better than Fluse.

Now all we need is some talent for him to work with. Preferably some that aren’t all coming off of recent major injuries like we currently have
