We had no business winning that game!

But a great win nonetheless.

Too bad it will all be for not because we stand zero chance at winning out the rest of the season and making the playoffs. Let alone actually winning a playoff game!

If we had Jimmy Johnson as our coach he would be in the locker room chewing some ass. Know we won but that was an absolute horrendous display of football and coaching. We were lucky… period end of story. One of these days we are going to figure out how to just play one team every weekend. We always play against ourselves and the other team. I’m sorry but i take zero satisfaction in watching this crap. I know I know it’s the Iggles. It’s still crap. I’m not buying one bit of what the Jerruh is trying to sell.

Alcohol the night before a game might do that. I still can't believe he had Lamb went out for dinner and DRINKS. AS someone who doesn't drink, it bothers me that an athlete would put alcohol into his system the night before a game.
That was.... Last week. You think they continued the partying this week?

Let the games play out. You never know. Everyone on the Eagles could get hurt. Injuries are the great equalizer.

You never know. Alcohol does dehydrate. Dehydration causes cramps. Just sayin.

Dallas has a good chance of pulling off the upset AND make a statement for themselves. Tough 3 games in 11 days. But hey, you never know! Dallas 27 - Egals 21

The defense clearly stepped up and we could see results of adjustments. It wasn't luck. It was no quit, leave it all on the field. Get carried out on your shield.

No we were lucky. You get a big turnover on their end of the field with four downs to score points and take your first lead of the game with an easy field goal after making boneheaded passing callas instead of running the damn ball. You take the three points and go up 24-21. You don’t walk away from that situation without points. Absolutely stupid coaching and play calling. It also clearly tells you about shoddys confidence in Eberflus and his porous scheme. If you knew it was four down territory then line up and pound the ball four times. Absolutely pitiful coaching.

See. One of the problems with the Cowboys is our commentators. I also listen to commentators of other teams. Now the thing is to sign Pickens. But does a team with so many holes really need to make having two number one WRs the highest priority?

I love Pickens. But replace Steele. Replace Guyton (not at all sold on him). Get a couple of DEs. Clowney switches teams constantly. We can't go another year with Murray at LB. Are our safeties good enough to win a Super Bowl?

But everyone wants to pay big money to the a second number one WR. Is there no cheaper alternative? IDK, I think I could get two pretty good WRs for the price of Pickens (franchise tag).

Let's look at all the teams ahead of us. How many have two number one WRs?

Plus grief and mourning can be factors. I agree.
That's a point too. But I keep coming back to the idea that Mike Tomlin is not stupid. There must have been a reason. Especially with Aaron Rodgers coming (and they knew he was coming) you'd think they'd want to give Rodgers a true number 1 WR.

There must be a reason.

They didn't "get" the turnovers they TOOK them.

But hell yeah I was shouting it, when the first run after the fumble got nine. "SAME PLAY OTHER WAY HARD COUNT!!!" But see? We're old school killer instinct guys

I'm not signing Pickens long term. Let someone else pay him. We rehabbed him.

It was stupid. I agree. And last week Brian quoted his dad "take the points." Defense was playing well. Take the points.

In that sense, Dallas did get lucky. But they also played their hearts out and made things happen too.

Pickens would be nice to keep but financially it would be tough. As you clearly stated we have tons of issues to resolve. Great points although keeping him would be nice

Sure it would be nice. It would also be nice to get a better QB too. Keeping him is a sexy thing to do. Games, as I'm sure you also agree, are still won in the trenches. Jerry has made moves to improve that, but we still have a ways to go on both sides.

Jerry knows his finances. I just hope he makes the right call. As of now, it seems they are willing to pay him at least on a franchise tag.
