I blame the play call more than Prescott TBH.

Schottenheimer is a GREAT play caller, until we get anywhere near the 10 yards or so. Then he is fucking GOD AWFUL.

The pass happy bullshit needs to end. They've lost a lot of pts inside the 20 and definitely inside the 10 because of bad play calling and bad decisions.
Do you think a big back like Phil Mafah might change that? That's why I keep saying to get him off IR. But I think the last two slots will go to Diggs and Sanborn.

Does anyone know when Trevon might be back? We need a ball hawk. I know he hasn't been a ball hawk in a while, but he wasn't 100%.
I don't think Diggs is anywhere near the player he once was. But I guess it can't hurt to try. We've only managed to snag 5 interceptions all season.

Threw two bad passes, then had himself a day. Super clutch performance by him today.

And a well earned turkey leg.

Hero to goat (in the old-fashioned bad sense) is a thin line sometimes.

I remember the SB with the Bengals and Niners. Montana threw a ball into the end zone that should have been intercepted by Ray Horton (who later played for Dallas). He dropped it. Next play, Montana threw a TD to seal the game.

It’s sad

The playoff loss to Green Bay a couple years ago really did break my give a fuck and destroy my fandom

We just beat both teams that played in last year’s Super Bowl in four days!

And I can’t bring myself to even enjoy it.

All I can muster is a pending sense of doom and all I’m doing is wondering which game we are going to lose next to finally get us mathematically eliminated from the playoffs
I feel you. It does seem like the mountain to climb is pretty high and we need a lot of luck. We also played the Packers tough when we still had a bad defense.

But, if we can finish strong, it might give someone like Clowney a reason to sign on again for a year. Same with Houston, etc., so that we don't always have to constantly find replacements and we can move forward instead of being stuck in neutral.

This isnt a great scene, Clowney is noticeably limping.

Had himself a great day today. I really thought he'd have minimal contributions when we signed him but he has turned out to be another quality addition.

My hunch is he wouldn't be putting any weight on it if it were serious. But yeah, it's certainly something to monitor. Luckily there is a mini bye.

Still a long shot to make the playoffs, but trending in the right direction...

Cowboys playoff odds

The Cowboys have a 17% chance to make the playoffs, according to NFL Next Gen Stats. That was an improvement upon their 10% chances of doing so entering Week 13, and a much better outcome than the 4% odds they would have sported with a loss.
