NFC Playoffs if they started today:

1) Rams- Bye
7) Bears at 2) Packers
6) Niners at 3) Philthy
5) Seahawks at 4) Panthers

There's almost no chance we can get a WC spot now unless several teams just collapse completely. Only real shot to make the playoffs is for us to win out and finish 10-6-1 and Philly to lose twice and finish 10-7. Depending on what happens with Carolina (currently 7-6) and Tampa (7-7 after horrendous home loss to Falcons) we'd either be the 3rd or 4th seed. If Carolina or Tampa win the NFC South at 10-7 and we're 10-6-1 we'd be the 3rd seed.

But I made this exact same prophetic remark concerning Diggs as to how his recent history/legacy would be perceived:
And that was precisely as above in that " he has missed ___ number of games out of possible ___ since 1st injury/2nd contract."

Another extremely poor return on investment.

He didn't suffer two major injuries because he "got paid", nor did he fake those injuries.

He hasn't been the same since the first one and by many accounts the 2nd knee injury was a worse situation for him.

Dude was a great player before he got hurt. Could he be a more physical tackler? Sure. But was he a tremendous ball hawk and pass defender, absolutely.

Has he had issues of his own making in that time? Most likely. But the injuries don't fall in that category. Like you said, great player, got hurt. If anything his situation is mostly all around shitty luck and timing.
