2025 Week Eight: Dallas Cowboys vs Denver Broncos

This spoke to Jimmy during the Soup Bow when Jim Kelly went out. They had to change their entire thought process without Jim in there and with Frank Reich, who had shredded Jimmy's Hurricane team when he was at Maryland. Jim was more of a gambler and gunslinger, Frank much more controlled and surgical. Had recently done the same thing to Houston too so at least there was film. Small adjustments started coming immediately, big ones later. The crossing route was killing us with Reich at the controls, among other things.

Reich didnt do shit dude. He ran up a bunch of stats after the game was a complete blowout, and all he had to show for it was a charity TD that was gifted by the refs despite him being several yards over the LOS. Reich had 4 turnovers

Refs literally blow the call on this tush push play EVERY single snap. It's either an Eagles false start, an Eagles OL lined up offsides or this.

The comment I remember from Jimmy was to the sideline reporter at the half "We're not Houston"

Your memory is fucked on this one dude. Just because the guy completed a few passes doesnt mean he was causing us problems. It was 14-7 when he came in the game. They got it to 14-10 and then the fucking blowout was on.

His only positive play after the FG drive was a fluke TD that never should have counted.

Reich got 40 of his 194 yds on a play that was clearly a penalty and should have been called back.

He had 31 attempts so even with the BS play he didnt even average 7 yds per completion. He had 4 turnovers.
He got ransacked just like the rest of their team.

18/31 for 194 yds and 4 turnovers is not even remotely quality play, especially when 40 of the yards comes on a play where the entire football world saw him go several yards over the LOS. He had a QB rating for the game of 60.4
