Last year the Phil's set a franchise record of 8 All-stars.This year, 2. Wheels came so close pitching a no hitter entire game. Hopefully he'll get the nod for the NFL starter.

And Schwarb is leading the team in HR's, RBI's, runs, on base percentage, slugging percentage & OPS.
Bryce Harper who lol...1000000338.png1000000341.png

Bryce Harper is the youngest active MLB player to reach 350 career home runs, achieving the milestone at the age of 32. He accomplished this feat on July 23, 2025, while playing for the Philadelphia Phillies. Harper is now one of eight active players to have hit 350 or more home runs in their career.

The previous record for the youngest player to reach 350 home runs was held by Ken Griffey Jr., who achieved the milestone in 1998 at the age of 28. However, Harper's recent accomplishment at 32 makes him the youngest active player to reach this milestone.

Record setting and tying day for A's rookie Nick Kurtz.

6 for 6. A single, a double and FOUR Homeruns (tying MLB Record). Also had 6 runs scored and 8 RBI's. 19 total bases.

He's having a kick ass rookie season too.

Today the Phillies won their 3 straight ๐Ÿงน vs the Rangers in Texas. What's so great about that sweep? The Phillies had a 10-game losing streak in Arlington, w/their last win dating back to March 31, 2014 at the former Ballpark in Arlington. They certainly made up some ground!

Ok. Last post on Schwarber, I promise. But he's having one of of the best seasons in his career. Glad he's doing so as a Phillie. His contract is up. Let's see what they do. 1000000734.png1000000735.png

daboyz we here at the DCU are here for you if you need emotional support, Amigo Dodger will volunteer as well

I know that big D. As always, TY for the support. You're the bestest! Wheels is my favorite Phillie. He's going to be missed come RED October big time.

At least we both have our baseball teams doing well. Then get disappointed come football season lol. A good friend of mine is a huge SOX fan. Loathes those Yanks. 2018 was a great WS win for them beating the much hated Dodgers.

Schwarber was one HR away from an accomplishment that was never done in the majors, 5 Homer's in a single game.

What's crazy is Schwarber wasn't very good the first two years after the Phillies got him. Going to be interesting what the Phillies will pay him after his 2022 4-year $79 million contract expires after this season.
