This is our Super Bowl

It should be, and more importantly it better be a good game

It's not the super bowl. It's an important game and probably means more to us than to them, but it's far from "the super bowl"

It would be a big disappointment to lose again but it's only game 5 of a 17 game season (fuck you Goodell), it doesn't mean our season is over if we lose.

It will depend on how we lose

If it’s a tough hard fought game and we lose by one score that’s one things. It’s something we can hang our hat on

But if we shit the bed and lose like the last two playoff games, or like we did against the Cardinals then our season is over. So is any resemblance of confidence the team may have had. Losing like that we will once again prove that we can’t compete with the top teams. For a third season in a row!

Winning this game is pivotal no doubt. Even though Dallas lost back to back playoffs, in the last 20 years, the Cowboys have dominated them regular season, losing only one time, the 2014 season opener. During that span, the Cowboys are 6-1 against the 49ers.

Unless we have a bunch of really bad injuries, it's one game and the season isn't over if we lose nor is the season "made" if we win.

We got blown out in a loss to Philly early in the season in 1992 (a team that had been owning us for quite some time) but we bounced back to beat them the next time, then blew them out in the playoffs. In 1993 we got absolutely bitchslapped to open the season in Washington, we won the Super Bowl. In 1995 we lost not once but TWICE to the lowly Redskins, and we won the Super Bowl.

Like I said, the game probably means more to us than to them simply because we lost the last two years in the playoffs to them. A loss would also give us two NFC losses, which hurts us in potential tiebreakers. But in the grand scheme of things, it's one game of 17.

There's a difference between losing a game you're expected to win (ie. the Cardinals game), and losing vs. an undefeated team early in the season. Plus, it's Week 5. Our defense will prevent it from being a decimation, no matter what happens with Dak and the offense. So any realistic loss is a loss they can come back from.

I think the physical and mental toughness needed for teams to become champions is often times overlooked as extremely important.
I have a hard time seeing Quinn's group not showing up to the physical side of things and the same holds true for Solari's group.
Where I struggle is the mental side with both the playcaller and decision making by the QB in real time.
Not sure how mentally strong or capable we are at those 2 most important positions whose roles are vital to accomplish this win and season success.

Trevor Lawrence is not a finisher. If he was the Jags would be over 30 by now

Wow! Terry Bradshaw picked San Francisco over Dallas without any explanation. That says a lot! lol

It feels really weird watching a Lions team that doesn’t suck

I kinda like it. I like Dan Campbells no bullshit style of coaching
They are fun to watch. St. Brown and LaPorta are a great receiving combo, Montgomery's running the crap out of the ball, and their defense, while not anywhere close to ours, can be pretty hard assed.

Saints up 31-0 on New England. Zappe's warming up and "Fire Bill" is trending on X...
