Somebody explain this to me.

The NFL says part of the reason they are dumping DirecTV to do this is because they want more people to have access to Sunday Ticket.

If that's the case, why do they insist on giving just one provider sole broadcasting rights?

Also, by dumping satellite TV, they are potentially screwing the bars/restaurants who mostly use Satellite TV to bring in all their sports. I have a few friends or are owners/co-owners of bars and not one of them say they use the internet to bring in TV options.

If the playoffs started today:

AFC

HFA Bills
7 Dolphins at 2 Chiefs
6 Chargers at 3 Bengals
5 Ravens at 4 Titans

NFC

HFA Eagles (only needs 1 win in final 3 games)
7 Redskins at 2 Vikings
6 Giants at 3 Niners
5 Cowboys at 4 Bucs

Right now neither the Jags or Lions are in, but I bet they will be after final game.

Jags are hot and have already beaten Titans once, their remining schedule is at Texans and home vs Titans, two awful teams right now. Lions are also hot and their remaining schedule is at Panthers, home Bears and at Packers. By the way, Lions beat the Jags 40-14 two weeks ago and completely dominated the game on both sides of the ball. The team we gave up 500+ yards and 34 offensive pts to totaled less than 300 yds and 14 pts in Detroit. Then we laid a fucking egg against them.

Nobody is going to want to play either of these teams should they get in.

If we beat Brady in the first round of the playoffs which will likely be the last game of his career would be the perfect send off for him.

A first round exit in the playoffs

Likely to be his first and only losing season record of his 22 year career

And finally losing to the Cowboys

I can’t think of a better way for him to end his career.

TV rights are only and ever about, money. Who's gonna pay more. No matter what the league of liars says.

Zoners (ie, the Tards) have made this huge deal out of the Eagles signing Suh and Joseph, as well as drafting Jordan Davis.

Those 3 guys have COMBINED for 1 sack and 1 tackle for loss, for the season.

So it apparently “feels like” 37 below freezing at the Browns game today

Fuck that!

Just imagine having to sit through a game when it’s that cold AND having to watch a Browns game at the same time
