If this man played in today's NFL with their two hand touch defenses, he'd be incredible.

The rope at 8:48 to Harper against GB is just a thing of beauty. And the slant to Harper in the NFC Championship game was unreal. The most accurate passer of his generation.

The dumbasses of this generation that only look at "stats" as a measure of how good or bad someone is make themselves look silly.

Aikman was as good a pure passer that has come into the league. He had precision accuracy and really strong arm, especially to make those tight window intermediate throws. He didnt fear throwing over the middle (and neither did his receivers) despite as you note, playing in a completely different era from a rules standpoint.

If he played today and threw the ball 35-40 times like these other guys, he'd have blistered a lot of passing records.

What a complete shit-show this woke NFL has become.

Because of their dumbass rules with Covid, several teams are having their rosters ransacked for important late season games.

Almost everyone of these "positive" tests are vaccinated players or coaches, and almost none of them have any symptoms, or extremely minor symptoms.

Yet they are told they cant play. Washington and Cleveland are both down to 3rd string QB's, Washington had to sign Cowboy castoff Gilbert to play QB this weekend in a key divisional game.

All the leagues and this country need to fucking get over it with this shit. There is absolutely zero need for the kind of fear and chaos over something that for 99.7% of people that get it amounts to minor flu like symptoms.

I said it before the season, but I truly hope if the Cowboys dont make it to the Super Bowl that a couple days before we find out Tom Brady for the Bucs and Bill Belichick/Mac Jones for New England get a positive test and cant coach/play, resulting in an absolute disgrace for the league.

We have several goldbrickers who specialize in not practicing. They're lucky that "no practice, no play" isn't a thing anymore.

Honestly it doesn't bother me, they don't have real practices anymore anyway. What does someone actually miss that sits out a walk-through in shorts and a tee shirt?

Seems like in todays pussified league all the preparation is about meetings and just general conditioning work.

We had Cooper miss because of Covid and a number of other players on our team as well. We played without them. Every other team should have to as well.
