Great defense by Denver all night, but Cam Newton turned in one of the worst performances in Super Bowl history, and capped it off being a raging cry baby after a big hit and totally making a "business decision" to bail on trying to recover his own fumble.

Dude couldn't read a defense or throw with any accuracy all game.

Glad for Ware to get a ring. Total class act and a great football player.

Remember when we let Ware go and the homer crew cheered our great new policy of not paying old, broken down, overpaid players?

Another supposed great call by Captain Clap exposed.

Great win for Ware and Wade and even Joe D. Historic type defensive performance. I'd forgotten what it was like to cheer for a team in a huge game and have them actually play to their maximum potential and come away with the win.

Hope Jerry chokes on it.

He will for a day or so. Then he will forget it, like he usually does.

The man has a brain like an etch-a-sketch. He just shakes his head and it is right back to where he started.

Jerry was probably thinking QB with the 4th pick before yesterday. I can see it now, he goes into Valley Ranch and has a meeting with the scouts and coaches and wants to lean defense with that pick now. Fucking reactionary idiot. Pats win with 2 TE sets, go out and draft TE's in multiple years; Payton is all the craze in the NFL, have Romo more involved with the offense and make him Payton-like. We're fucking doomed.

:lol I was thinking the exact same even during the game. If Cam comes back and wins this, we draft Wentz or Lynch. If Denver's defense keeps this up, we pass on a QB and draft a linebacker.

Yeah well....
I was cheering for Carolina so it felt like just another Cowboy game for me. Except the INT. That didn't feel like a Cowboy game. But with the offense never getting going, the bumbling around by the QB, the missed throws...

It felt like I was watching a 17th regular season Cowboy game

Yeah that's my concern, is he sees one broken down QB somehow win something, he'll believe Romo should be able to do the same.

I have no problem with them passing on a QB early if they don't believe the guy can play, but if the scouts are saying "this guy is a potential franchise QB", there shouldn't really be any other consideration for the pick IMO.

:lol

Noticed that during the game. The rest of the box was jumping for joy and Eli looked sad as hell.

I can't believe all the excuses made for Cam's postgame press conference sulk-off.

The former Tampa GM guy on NFL Live actually just gave him credit because he started to rip his helmet off during that mini-tantrum when Wolfe hit him in the endzone, but didn't. What?

But I'll tell you one thing. I DON'T want MY quarterback smiling and being all yuk-yuk after a loss, any loss. I want it to make him physically ILL. I want him to HATE losing so much he can't even speak. So I'm a bit tempered in my reaction to Cam's walking out of the post-game interview.

However I am NOT at all tempered in my reaction to his checking up, fighting off pure instinct and NOT jumping on his own fumble. That turnover ended all chances of Carolina winning the game IMO. He should have fought tooth and nail for that ball. He put himself above the team there.
