Highlight reel night for the UDFA

This has been a bit of an issue for him his entire college (and short pro) career. By all accounts was having really good camp but needs to stay healthy and play.

He looks good, but the OL opened a few holes for him too. They didnt open anything for Blue/Mafah or protect Howell that great.

I never understood why they didnt pursue a new ST coach after last years debacle. Tonight is just fucking bad. Nick Sorensen looks like the Matt Eberflus of ST coaches. Our coverage units and return game is total shit.

Milton 5/6 for 62 yds and TD on his first drive. Snapped off several good throws. Only incompletion was a drop by rookie WR.

Brown and Trigg making statements tonight.

Somebody has done some good work with Joe Milton. Several excellent throws on that drive. Another sensational snag by Camden Brown, who is having himself a game. Great throw too.

More worried about backup OL than 4th/5th CB TBH But they probably do need to look for a 4th CB

Good end to the half. Other than the kinda BS call on Carson on opening series (that was a 3rd down "PI") we've done ok. Good half for Sam Howell all things considered. OL didnt help him, Blue or Mafah at all but Howell handled it well. Couple good plays by rookie TE Trigg and then sensational...

Mostly. M Lawrence did have back to back nice plays. One on a run stop and then beat the RT for a nice rush, unfortunately backup LBs behind blew the QB scramble containment and gave up the 3rd and 11 conversion.

Mafah has 6 yds on 3 carries. None of these backup OL can run block worth anything.

The first one they did to Blue was pretty good. That last one, not so much.

Chill Amigo. Its a bunch of backups, many who are scrubs. (like Nate Thomas) 2nd series D was good. 2nd series O was good. It's not that bad. Backup OL is not good though and they'll need to seriously consider a couple of moves for depth there. Bass is all they have.

One thing is obvious after the first quarter, they don't have a legit #3 OT on the roster. Nate Thomas had a terrible 1st quarter. Didnt block anybody and should have gotten called for two false starts (one was called). TJ Bass also now out of the game (appears to be coaches decision). Coaches...

I think they said 6 or 7 Seahags had 13 play drive to open game. They also took out Revel and PJ Locke on the opening series.
