More worried about backup OL than 4th/5th CB TBH
But they probably do need to look for a 4th CB

He looks good, but the OL opened a few holes for him too.
They didnt open anything for Blue/Mafah or protect Howell that great.

I’m a little behind on the game after the half
Couple things
Brown just made the team and Mongo can be cut tomorrow. Brown has done more during the Rams Scrimmage and this game (which isn’t even finished yet) than Mingo has his entire career as a Cowboy
Milton finally showing some touch on the ball which he severely lacked last year. Milton is showing some hope that he may be able to be a viable back up

It's a preseason game where both teams played backups almost exclusively and after a rough 1st drive we kinda took it to them.
Seattle managed only 7 pts (one missed FG), only 156 yds of total offense, allowed only 49 passing yards, 107 yds rushing but 36 of that was Milton scrambles after breaking contain. Great GL stand after just a clusterfuck of ST gaffes back to back. Seattles opening drive was 80 yds, after that they totaled onlt 76 yds the REST of the game. And honestly if not for a very iffy PI call on Carson on the opening drive we might have shut them out (that was an off the field incompletion on 3rd down)
They have to be pleased with what they saw from both Howell and Milton, but Milton has really improved over what we saw last training camp and preseason. Everything about him as a thrower is eons better. Accuracy, touch and throwing mechanics are all vastly improved. Major props to Steve Shimko and Ken Dorsey for their work with him. Gonna be a real battle for the #2 job now.
Two UDFA's made significant statements tonight. Michael Trigg looked really good as a receiving TE (and even had a few decent blocks) and Camden Brown was the star of the game. 3 catches for 62 yds and two amazing TD grabs. One he was being absolutely raped by the Seahag defender and made the long catch from Howell. Other a one handed snag from Milton (which was actually a pretty damn good throw itself)
On the downside, the penalties were horrendous (13 accepted for over 100 yds), the backup OL was absolutely pathetic in the first half and the special teams (coverage and returns) were beyond fucking dreadful. They were bad last yr, they were WORSE tonight. Nick Sorensen is a lousy fucking ST coach and should have been fired after the season. We absolutely may lose a game or two because of how poorly coached that unit is.
But overall they have to be fairly pleased. Yeah its a preseason game, yeah it was backups. But we pretty much bullied the Super Bowl champs, especially the 2nd half.
