NFL Week #8: Washington Redskins (2-5) @ Dallas Cowboys (6-1)

he played on the series in OT, looks like Leary was injured at some point late in the 4th.

espn saying Ronald Leary has a groin injury in addition to Durant's injury Leary would be a bigger loss than Free IMO

Wasn't a tough call for Jerruh But it was the wrong call.

    I've wondered the same thing.

NFL Week #8: Washington Redskins (2-5) @ Dallas Cowboys (6-1)

Hence why I've said numerous times- "plenty of blame to go around" They didn't seem to change anything after halftime and to me it appeared they tried to do exactly the same thing in the 2nd half as they did in the 1st.

NFL Week #8: Washington Redskins (2-5) @ Dallas Cowboys (6-1)

Melton made some plays tonight and showed more upfield burst than he had in previous games. Crawford gets in the backfield a ton, he just needs to finish more of those plays.

Fear of Jason Witten’s decline led the Dallas Cowboys to pick TE Gavin Escobar

I've said all along I thought the injury he had that yr that he came back from impacted the decision to take someone that high. That said, I still clearly remember Jones telling Garrett and co that "if we draft this guy here (Escobar) you have to use him" on draft day

Durant could be out for the season

Yeah I remember that. But your right, now when you see "torn bicep" you see "IR, done for season" 100% of the time it seems.

I am disappointed that he had basically the same thing happen on almost every 3rd down. He's a veteran QB. With the skill guys and OL talent we have, it shouldn't be that simple to totally derail an offense.

Durant could be out for the season

Would have to disagree, simply because one guy hasn't been sucking for 20 yrs

NFL Week #8: Washington Redskins (2-5) @ Dallas Cowboys (6-1)

I don't want them to make any moves after what I saw tonight. Just keep the picks, hope Lawrence and a healthier Melton & Crawford can get the pass rush going the 2nd half of the season. Marinelli needs to just stop it with the zone coverages too.

NFL Week #8: Washington Redskins (2-5) @ Dallas Cowboys (6-1)

Bummer news about Durant ESPN (and anyone really) is right to go off on coaching staff. Both coordinators failed tonight.

NFL Week #8: Washington Redskins (2-5) @ Dallas Cowboys (6-1)

So in your opinion, Weeden played bad? His only bad play was the botched handoff, otherwise he did about as good as anyone could reasonably hoped. He should have probably stayed in the game, but we know who made that decision and that person has a history of bad decisions.

NFL Week #8: Washington Redskins (2-5) @ Dallas Cowboys (6-1)

Ultimately this is the kind of loss that bites a team in the ass come January. Really no excuse to lose to that lousy of a team on your homefield. But I told you (TE) that we would learn something about the team tonight win or lose. And we learned that the team still cant stay focused on a...

NFL Week #8: Washington Redskins (2-5) @ Dallas Cowboys (6-1)

Weeden played pretty good. Dez probably should have caught that 2nd pass he threw for a TD. The next series he threw several good balls.

NFL Week #8: Washington Redskins (2-5) @ Dallas Cowboys (6-1)

Will be interesting to see what the team does next week. Arizona blitzes on what seems like almost every play. Its been a long time since I've seen a team completely undone by the blitz like we were tonight.

NFL Week #8: Washington Redskins (2-5) @ Dallas Cowboys (6-1)

I blamed the whole team genius. And it was a 100% team loss. Plenty of blame to distribute after an ugly effort like that.
