And that's the first hint of a valid argument I've seen, for not trading him. Because of the gamble of what these idiots would use the picks on. Same idiots who drafted Dez, though. They did pretty darned good on that one. Shopping him around though, there's no argument I've seen against that...

S.Jones: Murray has ‘only increased our desire’ to sign him long-term

Here's my top ten current WRs: 1. Johnson. hands down. 2. Julio Jones 3. Fitzgerald 4. Green 5. Harvin 6. Marshall 7. Thomas 8. Bryant 9. Nelson 10. Nicks

We should just sign Dez to a big new deal because he's our buddy, we like him and he deserves it. #infantile

None of the 15 have given even one valid argument against shopping the dude around to test the waters. Especially, not you. And it's 2 vs 15.

S.Jones: Murray has ‘only increased our desire’ to sign him long-term

Because he has performed well? What we've already compensated him for? Please answer me this because seriously, I don't know what happened and I hope somebody does - we were getting all sunshine and rainbow reports that Dez was gonna be signed to a new deal before the opener. It didn't happen...

No. None at all. They fall in love with their guys.

S.Jones: Murray has ‘only increased our desire’ to sign him long-term

I'm not in any hurry to re-sign either guy. Letting them play out the season under their original deals is a good idea IMO.

As soon as one of you gives me one actual, factual reason why Jerruh shouldn't shop Dez around this coming offseason. Since we don't have a contract and all, and since they're now saying there won't be one until after this season. Earlier when I said there are 20 guys who can do what Dez does...

Fixed. The meter is, we shouldn't be doing it without all due diligence. You left Romo off your tag, for some reason. Jerruh got fucking BURNED on that one - he gives manning money for what is essentially now, a bus driver.

Adrian Peterson indicted He beat up his son or something

Agreed on all of the above... I'm not one who thinks there should be NO corporal punishment though. I never got the bare butt treatment. Got alot of clothed butt treatment though. I do take slight exception to the bare butt spankings - what's the point? And with a switch? "Defending Peterson"...

I don't mind conceding you guy's point here about what you have personally seen, but I'm still not calling it game planning. Since none of you all call it game planning when they first started doing this, to Bill Bates and actually rehearsed it in their practices. :smile1

You have no counter argument. Everyone sees and understands that.

Too busy laughing at your inane banalities and pablum. Going to need Obamacare for the stitches in my side you're giving me. You wanna win the innernets! :rofl

I guess so. Retarded enough I wouldn't have signed Tony without a thorough physical. Retarded enough I would have shopped Austin around first. Retarded enough I would have traded Walker too, if the deal was right. Retarded enough that I don't think a player automatically "deserves" a new...

And besides that it can be a good negotiation tactic. No player should be above that. Hell, they didn't even give Tony a physical before signing him to his huge deal. Think Jerry doesn't have buyer's remorse right about now? I'd by gunshy on any new, big deal.

I must see it more than either Johnson or Dez. maybe I watch too much NFL football.

If I were Jerruh I would be shopping Dez around, to see what the demand is. What the market is. If someone wants to give me a #1 and a #2 for him I now know his value out there. Now, what's his value to us, I would ask. Nothing wrong with that, to me it is due diligence.

:lol That's pretty standard for most all #1 receivers in this league.

That's not a defense. That is not a "show of respect." That is a attempt at intimidation. And why? Because Dez can't control himself.

The one you deleted? Yeah, it was as relevant as the others of the same vein. So what? I'm having a hard time wrapping my mind around how insisting shopping Dez now while you can is trolling. To me it should be automatic, since you can't get a contract done.
