He is coming off a 5 year deal. You don't want to lock him up for 5 more? No up front signing bonus?

Anything up front? And why so short term?

Post your contract offer for Desmond, fanboy.

I'll give Desmond a 3 year, 12 million extension with 6 million bonus to sign, 10 guaranteed. Or he can pack his shit. That's a total of 8 years, 24 million with 8 million bonus, and 18 guaranteed over the life of the two contracts. That's more than reasonable.

S.Jones: Murray has ‘only increased our desire’ to sign him long-term

Reading around you'll see at least three others who have said Dez is overrated, in just the last couple of days. I answered the question about Murray, you'll also see. I never said Dez is overrated, I rate him at about another 12 million deal.

I can have your vCash anyway. So that's the meter? Most TDs last two seasons? :lol

I posted my list of current top 10 WRs in another thread. There are 20 guys who can do what Dez does - combining current NFL players, and next year's draft class. You're pretending Dez has great numbers?

Another 12 million deal exactly like his rookie one would suit me. Heck I might even go as high as 14.

:lol Offered by whom? For whom? Only a 4th? But.... But.... But, he's so great and all, a future hall of famer. A 4th?

Of course, this is why we have civil court. Sue they asses.

Adrian Peterson indicted He beat up his son or something

There was a day when the teams would handle these things and that was it. Goodell owns this now, and everything to come. And it's not like he's ever been some tower of courage anyway.

They can shop him around too. Options all of which I call, due diligence. If a team wanted to do a trade this season, before the October deadline, and wanted to gimme a 1st and a 2nd for him.... I'd lean toward it.

The only reason we're talking about Dez's contract is, they didn't get a deal done.

Adrian Peterson indicted He beat up his son or something

Delegating to the people and departments who specialize in this shit isn't "running away." It's managing. Bet'cha they pay the collective people in those departments more than they pay Goodell. He looks like the clueless, feckless imbecile most of us always said he was.

Ok, I stand corrected on the dates. So, by not signing him this last offseason (still don't know what happened there after all the sunshine and rainbow reports he was going to have a deal) they are painted into a corner essentially.... Giving them all the more incentive to try shopping him...

Adrian Peterson indicted He beat up his son or something

He has a army of PR people and legal people. He has to be the front man? Delegating isn't looking the other way.
