'The Hitch' returns - Dallas O-Line used it in Victory formation last night

I highly doubt it. It's far more likely this O-Line got together and did this themselves. I don't see Garrett saying "Okay guys, look when we take the knee from Victory formation, I want you O-Linemen to do the 'hitch' from the old days." And then spending valuable practice time, getting it...

Liked what I saw out of Vikings rookie Bridgewater

I think they have a good find in Bridgewater. He's got everything RG Pee lacks, starting with a brain.

Wouldn't mind seeing that all the time. It brings unity to the OL unit. But yeah, wish I had noticed it at the time. Really classy of them to do that. It tells me they are forming a brotherhood of sorts, among themselves.

    Cowboy games drinking confession thread.

I must confess that starting at halftime I popped open a Shiner Bock - and by game's end 11 of those poor bastards got knocked off. Then another four or five, after the game. I think we as fans drink more when the Cowboys do well than when they don't.

Yes I should have mentioned Bortles as well. Wasn't at all out of his element and looks sharp too. Looks to be a good acquisition for Jacksonville.

Was celebrating with booze, and missed this little tribute. Victory formation..... Had the old Landry "Hitch" added to the OL last night. https://vine.co/v/OZ2llY736bz And on national prime time TV too.

Good decision making, good pocket presence, good mechanics and footwork - he looks like a pocket passer type but he can also run. With more practice work with the 1st team offense I think he can improve further. Thoughts?

This Dallas Cowboys defense is different

Which is what I have said all through recent years. If you have a dismal 3rd down percentage - therefore exposing your defense more - you're going to have a worse defense. Then when you compound that with getting no points off the turnovers the defense does get you, you're in a deeper hole...

This Dallas Cowboys defense is different

They're starting to develop some chemistry, which is essential. After that comes, identity. Both of the above are impossible if you're having the injury problems of last year.

Yep my mouth is officially shut about the 3 first round picks for it. It was a relatively quick fix that was desperately needed and might the THE ingredient.

NFL Week #4: TNF | New Orleans Saints (1-2) @ Dallas Cowboys (2-1)

This is what almost happened.... Three, 3 and outs because idiotically, we're running the ball against a 10 man box. This is like the '91 Cowboys, who didn't yet know how to act with a big lead. Fortunately we woke up this game, and got that will breaking TD late. Never, EVER stop attacking...
