2018 NFL Week #17 Gameday Thread: Dallas Cowboys (9-6) @ New York Giants (5-10)

Liking our chances at home against a certain opponent and trusting them is two entirely separate and distinct things. I don't "trust" them at all. Just like their chances at home vs Seattle. DON'T like the chances if it's Philly.

Actually I like our chances at home vs Seattle. But beyond that, no bet.

Yeah, Nawlins will be primed for us after what we did to them, and they'll be coached up and ready for it if we bring kamakze again. I predicted Philly would get better, immediately upon learning Wetz was done. Dbair called me insane or some other such shit. What he and many don't seem to see...

Who Ya Got? Week 17 - Dallas Cowboys vs. New York Giants

I recused myself, dunno who the actual winner is yet. Only reasoned out the only way we would have any chance at all was to attack completely kamakze style, but wasn't sure Ginger would listen to Richard. Just guessed right on that one. Also guessed right that it was a one-game only plan and not...

None are. The best in the league this year is 12-15 from 40-49 yards. Our guy is 7-11. Ranking tied at 6th best in that range. Out of 32. Employed kickers now, not counting all the unemployed ones you want.

How many kickers are automatic inside 45 yards? How many of those have we missed this year vs. Bailey last year? Veteran kickers available who can be automatic inside 45, can consistently get you touchbacks on kickoffs, but don't have a job for some reason? Would it shock you to learn we have...

To tell you the truth I'm more skerred of the Egals than I am of Seattle.

Hard to ever know that, when we "take what they give us" and just not even try to challenge doubles. I had this exact gripe when it was happening over and over to Dez. We just don't adjust and don't try, we just let them take a guy out of the game. Contrast that to when teams tried this same...

That was the whole point of playing the starters. As I predicted last week. Gotta have that 10 wins.

387 yards, 4 touchdown passes, no picks. And we have a putrid quarterback?

Go back and read your post. Your claim was that it was happening at least twice a game. Then you said you wished you could see some stats, ostensibly wanting others to do your research for you. Do your own work.

You don't know that you don't know. Interview after interview, the players are asked and they explain. Lots of times, replays show it. Troy Aikman points it out regularly. Now, I don't yet know what the case was here. That's why I listen to the postgame interviews on the radio. I don't just buy...

At the goal line, it's never been that way. If you have posession when the ball breaks the plane, whatever else happens after that doesn't matter. That's always been true, there's been no rule change.
