Who Here is Not Entirely Sold on Dak Prescott?

It's quite predictable actually. We've seen the playoff appearances for #4. Nothing good happened. 13-3, 12-4... We've seen this all before. Jerry doing all the same shit but expecting different results.

Who Here is Not Entirely Sold on Dak Prescott?

Two no-accomplishment guys have nearly identical stats on 8-8 teams, lots of garbage stats in there, when they're up for a new big money deal. That's the parallel and part of the history which if our FO doesn't learn, are doomed to repeat. It's not anything like you're trying to make it...

The league just had its first touchback on a kickoff.

    Much more valid comparison.

I have biases in this game. I hate Gilbride and Glanville. But they're on opposite sidelines so it evens out. The kickoff is a football play in this league, by the way. Have you seen it yet?

I think Vince still just wants to stick it in their ass. He'll want to grow it but keep it alternative, his own little product that fills a need. There's no profit to be made going head to head with a juggernaut. His complete and total absence from sight helps the product as much as anything...

Bottom tier only was sold. But, they pretty much filled it on the home side and the end zones, a little bit sparse looking on the visitor side but still ample. It's a good opening day crowd and they are noisy, engaged and entertained. Home team leading 17-0 at the half.

Who Here is Not Entirely Sold on Dak Prescott?

Which, is the exact bet Dak made when he refused our offer. He was betting he was going to beast it out, get us to the SB then could command 40 mil or more per season. He lost his fucking bet, there should be a consequence for that.

I did not miss your nonsense point. It's nonsense because it's an idiotic comparison. You're comparing a guy who played three years for Denver when it was an AFL team, to Roger fucking Staubach. Denver retired the guy's number, that's on them. Using the word "legend" on the guy is just silly...

Who Here is Not Entirely Sold on Dak Prescott?

Such irony, from the guy who's actually trying to do that. The goalpost is and was only this: Signing Romo to his huge deal without letting him test the market was a huge mistake. Everyone agrees on that, even if just in retrospect. Which for me it was not. And we're back at that very same...

I mean... a 3 year deal, 40 mil a year with 60 guaranteed? Can't really kill ya. Specially if you get a first and a second for Dak?

    The Brady to Dallas Thread

Surely you're not comparing the two... Dallas doesn't and never has, officially retired any numbers. However no one has worn #12 since Roger retired. My question is would Jerry respect Roger enough to at least ask him if he minds. Or would he just leave it up to Brady to ask him. Or just give...

You think they would let him wear #12? Would they ask Roger if that's okay? Dude has 6 rings. Can't imagine any objection, not even from old school fans like me and most of the guys here.

Who Here is Not Entirely Sold on Dak Prescott?

Not even comparable, Troy wasn't a UDFA or a fucking 4th round compensatory pick. He was the #1 overall pick of the 1989 draft.

It would represent, trying something else for a change. You gutted the coaching staff, lets do some major surgery on this roster now too.
