    Jerry just guaranteed victory

The old running back, or the young love child of Calvin Watkins and Clarence Hill? :confused

    Old guys and young chicks

So the poll is really about who is the creepiest old man, right? Because the girls all look okay. Gotta go with McCartney or Ronnie Wood. Don't even know who Wood or the last guy are.

    We should have signed Peyton

Who arugued we wouldn't be better off? Maybe we would be somewhat. People are just saying that 1) Peyton would get whacked behind our line and that 2) Romo is far from our biggest problem.

    We should have signed Peyton

Romo doesn't have free rein at all. He has two plays and he can check into the second one depending on the defense. That's nothing like what Peyton gets to do. As a lot of us have said, we'd be better off if Romo did have free rein to call anything.

    We should have signed Peyton

Agree. And there's no way it would have happened anyway.

GM for a day - Trade deadline edition

Can't believe they gave up a 4th (yeah, they got back a 7th but that's worth next to nothing) for a guy who can't even play for a few more games and whose contract is up.

DMN: Tyron Smith comes from a family of deadbeats

WTF? Like cmd said, all we heard about when we drafted him was what a great family he came from.

Would you be mad at this?

:confused That's what I was saying.

Would you be mad at this?

Top two sackers in the NFL are white. I don't even know this world anymore.

I want one of these guys as our first pick

Not sure Geno is all that once the workouts start and heavy scrutiny gets going.

    A reason to hope?

Hell, I actually feel better about us on the road. Maybe not this particular week, because I think Falcons fans are really fired up right now and that dome can get loud. But generally speaking, I don't think being on the road vs home really matters. And maybe we do beat ATL. Wouldn't shock...

    A reason to hope?

Sure it's possible. The second half of yesterday's game shows what this team is capable of. But for instance, I doubt we sweep the Skins. And I'm not even sure we sweep the imploding Eagles, as much as they get up to play us. Gotta ask though, why do you think we beat the Falcons?

Does the team respond to Romo?

Yep. I'm more convinced than ever of it. We threw the ball 62 times yesterday. Sixty two! WTF! When you do that, you're going to throw for a bunch of yards, but you're also going to turn it over. And turnovers lose games. And Garrett explains it by saying that that's what the defense...

Does the team respond to Romo?

I don't think Romo is naturally the tough, macho, football leader type that people gravitate to. Which is fine, he doesn't have to be. He's talented enough and a good enough dude that his play is enough. I do think a few of the stragglers were misled by TO during his day, but those guys are...

I turned the game off after the Dez fumbled punt return

These posts were made a while ago... Hope everyone has settled down a little. We're supposed to hate Jerry and Garrett, not each other. :gaygrouphugsmiley: The loss sucked, and there aren't any moral victories in the NFL. But if I'm going to bitch when we win ugly, sloppy games like the Tampa...

Jerry Jones the owner supports Jerry Jones the general manager

Same bullshit as always. Jerry loves to remind you what a wildcatter he is and he wants props for it. Never mind if the gambling leads to epic mistakes like Joey Galloway and Roy Williams.

Here's a stupid extension: Despite Injury, Church Gets 4-Year Contract Extension

Yeah, the other spot I could see us drafting in the first is a defensive lineman. Ryan wanted Wilkerson or Heyward (IIRC that was the other one) at the end of the first a couple years ago, and they have to see a guy like Watt and want someone more disruptive. That's assuming we re-sign...
