If we stay put, I'd be happy with Mayer, McDonald or Avila. Despite a shitty Tolbert and a gimpy Gallup, it just doesn't feel like a WR for us this year. And even if you can't have enough corners, Gilmore probably means no Banks.
Troy said Dak knows the standard in Dallas is Super Bowls, even though he doesn't have that kind of ability and we haven't sniffed that game in 25 years.
Some anonymous NFL exec said this is the worst year for NFL o-linemen in quite some time, which means teams are gonna draft the better ones while they still can. and probably higher than they should. Avila strikes me as a second rounder who will go in the late first due to paucity at the position.
Watching them try to run in the Jax and Tennessee games was painful. Combination of Zeke being done and getting manhandled up front. I keep hoping Frederick reconsiders and comes out of retirement but that's probably a long shot.
The cap is going up significantly next year. No need to fiddle with his contract to create more cap room. And it goes without saying that he does not deserve an extension based on performance.
As much as I love football, I honestly need a break from it once the season ends, so I doubt I'll be watching much of it. If they had better players, I'd probably change my tune. I mean, there aren't enough good QBs in the NFL, let alone the USFL.
