Will Cowboys be better than 9-7 after spending NFL draft plugging holes? NO!

Exactly. And the same delusions typically spill out to many fans as well.

You were saying we "lost a lot." I pointed out, not really. Now it's "holes to fill" and you have those every year. And, 8-8 on average for the last 22 years is the very definition of "treading water." We didn't lose anything we can't replace with as good or better results.

It’s time to move on from Dez

The wait begins for Dez's post-draft signing! Wait... He's not signed yet? That takes Dez out of the mix immediately. Where did he ever show either desire for either, that is after he got his big contract.

The folded index card indicated we did NOT make the first down that was being measured. So, it's the idiot official's inability to tell what his folded index card actually proved, not any play we made, which gave us that first down.

Will Cowboys be better than 9-7 after spending NFL draft plugging holes? NO!

Not really. An infantile idiot diva wideout who led the league in dropped balls and really wasn't worth a shit the last three years, and a HoF TE whose best years were way behind him.

It's an 8-8 team. Still will be, on average, until we get rid of Jerruh and Ginger. There, see? I said exactly what the writer did, in 600 fewer words. All I did was toss out all the word salad.

I'm almost convinced that doesn't exist. Troy and the core group did it last time we won a SB, but that was an extremely special group of players who overcame Switzer.

But seriously, there's really very little to bitch about with our haul. Nothing to drive ya wild either, but overall it's pretty darned okay.

Shit, I just looked up his rushing stats: 184 carries for 1,238 yards with a 6.7 APC and longest run of 65 yds and 9 TDs rushing. 22 career fumbles on punt returns - we sure don't need any of that shit.

Rams used him as a RB in a utility role and also as a punt returner. If he's still got his speed he can be dangerous.

Dude was a speed monster coming out of college, with a 4.3 40 as I recall. 1st round pick when drafted. Had maybe one really good year with the Rams then disappeared when the new coach took over. I don't know what he can still do or what he would be really worth.
