Witten retiring: holding press conference Thursday

Both those guys got paid tons of money to play a game for a living. Both players had good careers. I hate Garrett and he needed to be replaced years ago, but it's honestly gay as fucking hell to keep saying "Garrett wasted so and so's career" You know what, if they didn't want to play for him...

Cuts, signings, trades and more from around the league

He only had one healthy yr when he was here, but 2016 he was pretty good at DT for us and he set career highs for tackles, TFL's and sacks. He'll be 30 in July though so unless he comes over for basically the league minimum and maybe some incentives I cant imagine we'd sign him.

    Earl Thomas thread

I was all for getting Earl Thomas, but I didn't want to see us give up a 2nd rd pick this year for a 29 yr old safety who also needed a mega contract deal. 3rd and something else, all for it. 2nd. No.

Green played more than adequate in 2016 at LT when he replaced Tyron Smith, there was no reason to believe he would play that badly this time. Like I said numerous times, it is abundantly clear this guy QUIT, he was butthurt over losing out on a starting job in training camp/preseason (once...

    2018 NFL Draft Thread

No numbers for the Cowboys are "officially" retired. The fact is during preseason though some numbers have to be given out. It isn't he first time 74 has been given out either. Once Armstrong makes the 53 after final cutdowns, he'll get another number. That's why media people were joking about...

The Dallas Cowboys were able to land some talented players even after the draft ended. Who is the next Tony Romo? Who is the next Cole Beasley? Who is the next Dan Bailey? In recent years, the Dallas Cowboys have done an outstanding talent of evaluating undrafted free agents. It is just one...

    Earl Thomas thread

Thought it might have been over with the draft, but there were a couple stories that came out late last night that said the Cowboys are still pursuing a trade. This might go on through training camp, so decided to create the official Earl Thomas thread. Report: Cowboys remain interested in...

    Dane Brugler Top-5 Draft Classes

We might look back on this QB draft in 3+ years or so and see that the best one didn't get picked in the 1st rd. I think all 5 of those 1st rd picks have holes in their game (or head). If Bruce Arians hadn't retired and coached Rosen, I actually might think he'd have the best chance of panning...

Will Cowboys be better than 9-7 after spending NFL draft plugging holes? NO!

As I said in another thread, I really wont be surprised by any record they have this year. They could be anywhere from 12-4 to 6-10 and I probably wouldn't be shocked in the least. I do think that ultimately it will be addition by subtraction with Dez and even Witten being gone. As good as both...
